Hair routine! The secret is out :)
Hello beauty lovers!
This post is going to be an atypical post since I am not
reviewing anything. Today I am sharing with
you may hair washing routine which I think works really well on me and
might help you too if you have frizzy or dry or un-tameable, curly hair.
Without further ado I shall reveal my hair secrets J
Step 1
OIL- any kind of oil, coconut oil (for a couple of hours) or
L’oreal oil (for a few minutes).
Step 2
Going into the shower I use a slightly colder temperature on
my hair than I use on my body and wet my hair.
Step 3
Conditioning. Say what? I did not skip a step, this is what
I do, I condition (or do a mask). I let it like that while I shower the rest of
my body.
Step 4
I rinse and shampoo.
Step 5
I condition again and sometimes pour some raspberry vinegar
on top of the conditioner.
Step 6
Final rinse
Step 7
A trick I learned from Michelle Phan, use a cotton t-shirt
to dry your hair instead of a towel. The towel can make it frizzy and we don’t like
that, do we?
WHY?
A simple question which has a simple answer- It works
better! Using a moisturizer (mask or conditioner) preps the hair for
shampooing, the shampoo will lather much better, which will allow gentle moves.
All in all the hair will be more shiny and easier to brush.
Do you have a routine?
Try this one once, maybe you'll make it your routine as well.
Until the next one,
Only positive thoughts!

Dry Shampoos
Hello Darlings!
Dry shampoos… Honestly the first
time I tried one that actually worked I thought it’s a miracle. My very first
one was the green one from Balea if you guys know.. and I thought nothing can
beat it…that is until I met Batiste…
These are the dry shampoos I’m reviewing today and I hope I
can be of help to you.
L’oreal Express
Refresh
Well, there are nice things to say about this one… like..
the price, the smell, and the fact that it’s TRANSPARENT!! I got a very good
offer for it and got it for half the price (2-3 EUR) and the fact that it’s
transparent makes it easier to use for instance for someone that does not have
experience with dry shampoos, it could be your first dry shampoo, you might
just love it J.
The smell is really really nice, it does not bother the nose and I think is
unisex, I let my boyfriend use it and he’s happy with it so I’m happy.
Balea Dry Shampoo
This one was around 2 EUR and I was
actually looking for its predecessor (the green one) when I was in DM but since
this one was the only one in the store I really had high hopes for it mainly
because I thought they discontinued the green one because they found a beter
formula.
The smell it’s indescribable, it’s not the
scent itself that bother but the fact that I can’t breathe after spraying it…
it’s so dry and powdery, a total no-no. About its work… well I don’t like it…
it either spray too much white powder or none at all and just the watery part
of it… the part that had too much powder gets very difficult to spread and blend
and escape the white and the part that has mostly spray looks greasy. L
Not gonna purchase this one eva’ again.
Batiste Dry Shampoo
Now this is one that if you ever
see on sale you should stock. The price is decent, the result is incredible,
the scents are okay, a variety so pick after your own taste. One that I really
didn’t like was the cherry one.. it was just so intoxicating plastic cherry
like that I could not cover even with my perfume.
But these 2
are my favorite! The original one is very discrete, it’s not going to bother
you during the day and the tropical one smells like coconuts <3 J.
I checked the ingredients and noticed that Batiste dry shampoos
have rice starch whereas the other ones have aluminum starch, I think this
might be one of the reasons I don’t like it… an now really wtf is aluminum
starch? I don’t think I want it on my head anyways…
Beauty hack: never tried it but I heard that you can use
corn starch if you run out of dry shampoo because it has the same effect, plus it’s
a natural and cheap alternative.
I personally never tried it because I think about the smell,
thank God these sprays have a scent, no-one wants to smell greasy hair scent
yuk!
Until the next one: Too-da-loo!!

Unboxing Goodiebox March 2015
Hello beauty lovers!
I am so excited; I just came from the post with this month’s
Goodiebox. Now I know every country has this concept (you subscribe monthly for cosmetics that would normally
cost more if bought individually plus you get to be surprised, every month),
Goodiebox is the Danish concept. J
Without further ado here is the content of my Goodiebox:
1. The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Body Butter (travel
size, 50 DKK)
The Body Shop is one of my favorite
brands because they use natural ingredients, don’t test on animals, are always
engaged in social campaigns (they always do CSR).
This particularly body butter is a
novelty, I don’t think TBS launched it yet soo.. hehe I get to be among the
first to test itJ (me
and the other Goodiebox subscribers).
The consistency is very light,
more like the Moringa and Satsuma (for the TBS connoisseurs) and thus fitful
for spring and summer. The scent is very delicate, I love it. Well done
Goodiebox!
2. Human+Kind Hand+Elbow+Foot Cream (50 DKK)
You can never go wrong with a hand
cream, especially one that says “no chemicals, no colorants, no parabens, no
perfume, no additives, no animal testing, dermatological tested, hypo
allergenic, suitable for sensitive skins”.
The scent is a bit stronger than the TBS body butter above
mentioned. I like it.
3.
Appeal4 nailpolish (69 DKK)
I don’t know about this one… has
metallic nail polish come back? I don’t think so but I can make it work in
combination with a matte one.
4.
Nivea Cream Smooth (travel size, 20 DKK)
Can’t wait to try it, I usually like Nivea products.
5.
Glo Minerals jeweled Eye Pencil (150 DKK)
This one looks interesting, has a creamy texture, can’t wait
to try it.
6.
Baru dreamy chocolate hippo (29 DKK for 3)
Can you ever go wrong with chocolate?
7.
Teapigs Liquorice and Peppermint (77DKK for 15)
You lost me here, I cannot stand liquorice.
Conclusion:
All in all I am happy mostly because of the body butter, eye
pencil and hand cream and if I am to do the math all these 3 products cost more
than I paid so… I’m happy.
That’s all folks! One more month until the next Goodiebox!
Until the next review!
Too-daa-loo!

The Body Shop Chocomania range
Hello beauty lovers!
Sometimes the only thing that excites me when I think of
taking a shower is the products that make the experience oh so pleasant. Today
I’m presenting you my review of TBS Chocomania range:
I’m going to start talking about the body butter which is in
fact the product that convinced me to buy all the others. I had a small version
of it from a heart shaped set that contained 2 travel size body butters and
from the first use I fell terribly in love with this scent. I find it so yummy
and at the same time seductive and comforting a scent that I know all chocolate
lovers will adore.
The consistency of the butter is perfect for a cold season
since it is very thick and moisturizing, a heavy texture that I prefer using
before going to bed. I fell it’s like a feast for the senses(it is the deluxe
edition) and I cannot get enough, I had to buy the largest version when I
finished it.
As a plus these products are cruelty free since TBS don't test on animals, have no parabens and they are made of natural oils. Will be purchasing it again and again it’s a keeper! A big 10
The Body scrub= a total disappointment!
I must admit I had very high hopes for this one. I had tried
body scrubs from TBS before and liked it a lot but this one… omg… the smell is
so plastic, nothing like the shower cream or the butter.
Let’s talk about consistency... looks gooey, nothing wrong
about that, also nothing feels wrong while using it.. it is only after when you
rinse it off that gets very annoying…
Why? Well… after using a scrub you would expect your skin to
be somehow dry, you did just exfoliated right? Well ladies and gents… this one
leaves your skin OILY! Yes oily! How is this possible? I don’t know… I find it
disturbing though. It gets a 5 from me… never to be purchase again.
The shower cream=a delicious pick!
The shower cream is just lovely, it has a nice consistency and
it smells lovely, warm, sweet what everyone deserves to be spoiled with once in
a while J
It gets a 10 from me although I admit it is a bit weird to
use a brown colored shower cream.
Till the next one!

Clinique Superdefense SPF25 Age Defense Moisturizer
Hi Hello lovely people!
Today is about my fav face cream of all time (so far). I’ve
been using this one for more than a year and now it saddens me to say but… it’s
no more, no more
I should begin by saying that this cream was recommended to
me by a friend who said that this was the best she’s ever had, a bit pricy but
worth the money. I was intrigued and went to a Clinique store (not quite a
store but a tiny place where they sell it at the El Corte Ingles-for those of
you living in Spain) and the seller said that first she needs to test my skin
to see which kind of cream would best fit me and my skin’s needs.
I went along and listen to her talk about how I should have
the 3 steps program, that just cleaning my face is not enough that it is
important to use the toner from the same brand and so on… I was only interested
in the face cream so…
It turned out that her recommendation was the same as of my
friends, the super defense cream for combination skin.
I must admit I had my doubts because no other face cream
that had “for combination or oily skin” did good to me, they terribly dried my
face and the sebum shine was there anyway as if to spite me. Not this one
though, this one moisturized, protected and restored my faith in combination
face creams. J
It is a dermato-cosmetic, created by a dermatologist and it
truly is better than a drugstore cream.
Pros:
·
Subtle scent
· Good moisturizer
·
Keeps the sebum in control
·
Good base for makeup
·
Has SPF 25 and “fights against the visible
effects of emotional stress, sun and pollution”
Cons:
·
The price (I paid around 50Eur in Madrid)
I will repurchase this product as soon as I
find a good offer for it. Right now I have a few face creams that I am testing,
replacing this cream until the next one takes its rightful place into my shelf.
Ladies, expect more face cream reviews!
Until the next one
Much Love,
Diana

Yves Rocher Stimulating Shampoo with white lupine extract
Hi Hello!
Today I'm presenting you my review on this shampoo, I should mention that I have at least 10 shampoos so you will be seeing a lot of reviews on this category. It is not necessarily an obsession I am just constantly looking for "the one" shampoo but never seem to find the right one. But did I though?

It is not necessarily an obsession I am just constantly looking for "the one" shampoo but never seem to find the right one. But did I though?
This Anti-Chute Shampoo
seems to be closer to the one so I thought is is worth reviewing it.
I started using it about a
month ago and here you can see that I used half of it so I had time to form an
opinion.
Been using it along with:
Been using it along with:
(*Cloud
9-Quick dry potion, *Elvital-Extraordinary oil,*Yves Rocher-Eclat radiance
rinsing vinegar, *L'Oreal- Instant miracle reconstructing treatment,
*Batiste-dry shampoo tropical)
Their description
"Yves Rocher Laboratories selected the white lupine for its proven anti-hair loss properties. Incorporated into a soft and creamy shampoo, it acts at the root of the hair bulb by stimulating the scalp's micro circulation-making hair healthier, fuller, stronger and more resistant."
What it did for me
I tend to agree with its
description so far, except for the hair loss part, I have not noticed yet any
difference but then again I was not expecting any miracles. It is possible that
if you use this shampoo for months and gently massage it on the scalp to actually
work as a hair fall defense treatment
Pros
- it
doesn't itch (unlike Elseve/Elvive/Elvital)
- it
lathers well
- good
for greasy hair, it has some drying factor in it which also helps with
volume
- contains
natural extracts of white lupine
- no
parabens
- decent
price (4-5 Eur)
Cons
- strong
off-putting smell
- contains
sulfates
Conclusion
I will be
repurchasing this shampoo one day because it is closely to what I envision
"the one" shampoo to be like. The strong scent is a no-no but I will
definitely try out more of the Yves Rocher shampoos.
